Job description

Overview\nUnder the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs physical care of assigned patients (i.e. grooming, feeding etc.). Collects specimens as needed. Assists and accompanies patients during admission or discharge.\nPosting internally from Oct 23-Oct 30th\nResponsibilities\nPerforms general care activities for patients. Records patients' personal care and physical findings. Performs a variety of tasks and activities according to the needs of the Department. Performs EKG, monitors ECG telemetry equipment and Phlebotomy on Patients.\nQualifications\nQualifications: Must have two to three (2-3) years in acute/chronic or ambulatory care setting. High School graduate or GED and completed a PCT course which should include EKG and Phlebotomy. Good computer skills as well as organizational, written and verbal skills. BLS Certification required. Experience in Acute Psychiatry preferred. Bilingual Preferred:\nEnglish/Spanish.
