Provide evaluation and treatment for speech, language, and swallowing disorders for patients of all ages. Develop augmentative and alternative communication systems and conduct specialized dysphagia testing like FEES and MBS.
A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required. Bilingual skills and experience with both adult and pediatric populations are preferred.
Overview The Speech and Language Pathologist- Clinical Fellow (CF) will be able to provide services to both the Ambulatory Care Network Clinic patients and BronxCare Health System in-patients over the course of the Clinical Fellowship Year. The CF will report directly to the Director of Speech-Language Pathology. Consultation services will be provided upon request to all other departments within BronxCare Health System. Services will be provided to persons of all ages with communication and/or dysphagia disorders, with increasing independence and responsibilities over the course of the CFY, per SLP Director’s discretion and with supervision.
