We are currently recruiting for a Part Time OB/GYN Sonographer for our Brunswick Hills OBGYN [https://axiawh.com/locations/brunswick-hills-ob-gyn-of-hillsborough/] in East Brunswick, NJ.
Hours: Wednesday & Friday 7AM-3PM, 12PM-8PM Thursday
Reviews any prior images and imaging reports prior to ultrasound exam.
Reviews and verifies physician’s orders.
Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures, explains procedures, measures and positions patients for each anatomical view.
Performs high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with approved techniques and protocols, ensuring the transducer (probe) is correctly capturing images.
Presents images and preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare team.
Evaluates images for quality and interprets images captured.
Maintains patient records; adds medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure.
Maintains ultrasound equipment and sterilizes room between ultrasound patients.
Utilizes PACs, EMR, and other systems related to imaging.
Stocks and replenishes supplies as required.
Maintains certifications by completing any assigned compliance and continuing education requirements.
Trains other Ultrasound Technicians as needed.
Performs other associated duties as assigned.

Candidates must have completed an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program and hold a current RDMS certification from ARDMS in Ob/Gyn. At least two years of recent experience in obstetrical scanning is preferred.
