The Occupational Health Nurse provides clinical services including triage and care for employee injuries, medical surveillance, and health education. They also maintain medical records and coordinate care with physicians.
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an active RN license in Kentucky, along with a minimum of five years of RN experience and two years in an Occupational Health Clinic. Current BLS certification is also required.

The Occupational Health Nurse provides clinical occupational health services to Government employees of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District. Services are performed under the technical direction of the Government nurse within the Occupational Health Unit and include employee injury care, medical surveillance, wellness services, and health education in accordance with federal guidelines and medical protocols.
