The X-Ray Technologist performs technical procedures, assists in clinical evaluation, and produces diagnostic images while ensuring a safe and positive patient experience in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Facility. Essential duties include maintaining imaging competence, enforcing radiation safety standards, assisting physicians, and acting as a mentor to new staff and students.
Candidates must possess a Diploma or Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program and hold a New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist status, ARRT registration, and Heartsaver CPR/AED certification upon hire, with no prior experience explicitly required. Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and adherence to safety and professional standards are necessary.
