The physician will examine, diagnose, and provide treatments for gastrointestinal issues, including performing various endoscopic procedures. They will also maintain patient records and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited medical school and completed a residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology. Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology is required, along with an Oregon medical license.
Perform diagnostic GI procedures including EGD and colonoscopy Provide comprehensive care for a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to deliver patient-centered care Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and prevention Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation
Required MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of Gastroenterology fellowship training Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Oregon medical license or ability to obtain DEA certification Preferred EUS and ERCP experience Experience in hospital and outpatient GI practice settings Why St. Charles Health System?
