The primary goal of this role is to assist individuals in achieving self-sufficiency through competitive, community-based employment.
Key Responsibilities: Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients to support their goals for competitive employment in integrated community settings.
Provide paraprofessional social services, participate in treatment team planning, and assist with crisis intervention as needed.
Conduct job development activities and establish relationships with local businesses to secure employment opportunities aligned with client preferences.
Maintain a minimum caseload engagement standard (e.g., six active client contacts per week, as required).
Educate clients on benefits (e.g., SSI, Medicaid) and how employment may impact them to support informed decision-making.
Refer clients to benefits counseling and assist with wage reporting as needed.
