The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care by utilizing the nursing process, standards, and physician orders to ensure patient and family-centered care. They are responsible for collaborating with the healthcare team, participating in shared leadership, and functioning as a charge nurse when designated.
The RN is a nursing professional care provider under the direction of the director or designee who utilizes the nursing process, nursing standards and physicians orders to plan, provide and direct nursing practice.
