The Intake Therapist provides holistic, evidence-based mental health and substance use disorder psychotherapy services. They act as the primary decision-maker for client treatment plans and collaborate with agency staff to monitor progress and outcomes.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a mental or behavioral health field and possess at least three years of experience in substance abuse or dual diagnosis. Proficiency in biopsychosocial assessments, ASAM criteria, and utilization reviews is required.
The Intake Therapist position is focused on providing holistic and evidence-based mental health and substance use disorder psychotherapy services for clients in their respective NAT-SU treatment program. The therapist is the primary decision-maker for their clients’ treatment and so they must work closely with other agency staff to monitor progress and make any adjustments needed to ensure the best possible treatment outcomes. This position is an in-person position.
