The therapist provides clinical social work services including psychosocial assessments, individual, group, and family therapy. They are also responsible for treatment team planning, crisis intervention, and discharge planning/case management.
A Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, or a related field is required, with professional licensure preferred. Candidates should have prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
The Therapist provides clinical social work services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health. The Therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital. Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including, adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient and partial hospital setting.
Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field required, licensure preferred.
