The Respiratory Care Student provides respiratory care to inpatients, including assessment, monitoring, and treatment administration. They also assist with cleaning and assembling respiratory equipment while maintaining accurate medical records.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program and hold a BLS certification. A Respiratory Care Student Permit from the state of Indiana is required within 60 days of hire.

The Respiratory Care Student provides respiratory care to inpatients with respect to acuity, age and required treatment. The Respiratory Care Student will be oriented to the Acuity Adaptable unit and Respiratory Care Equipment Room. This position proactively contributes to Eskenazi Health's mission: Advocate, Care, Teach and Serve with special emphasis on the vulnerable population of Marion County, and models Eskenazi Health values of Professionalism, Respect, Innovation, Development and Excellence.
