The Sterile Processing Aide is responsible for the decontamination, preparation, and distribution of sterile and non-sterile medical items. They must ensure safety and quality standards are maintained while communicating effectively with medical personnel.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and are expected to obtain a CRCST or CSPDT certification within 18 months of hire. Previous experience in sterile processing or surgical technology is preferred.
Responsible for the decontamination, preparation and distribution of sterile and non-sterile items. Ensures and maintains safety and quality in the performance of these duties.

General supervision from Sterile Processing Manager and Supervisor.
