The role is responsible for performing cardiovascular and interventional radiological procedures within a hospital environment. The technician must adhere to UHS service excellence standards, focusing on professionalism, teamwork, and exemplary patient care.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited radiology technician or cardiovascular invasive specialist program with ARRT (CI), ARRT (VI), or RCIS registration. Required experience ranges from 1 to 2 years in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology unit, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsible for performing cardiovascular and interventional radiological procedures.
Education: Graduate from an accredited radiology technician program or registered cardiovascular invasive specialist program. Must successfully complete VHS Ancillary Preceptor training within first six (6) months.
