The LPN will provide essential nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing wound care under the supervision of RNs and physicians. They are also responsible for documenting patient information accurately and collaborating with the healthcare team to implement care plans.
Candidates must hold a valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and have completed an accredited practical nursing program. Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient safety protocols, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team are required.
Provide routine nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering injections, and managing wound care. Assist with patient assessments and report any changes in patient status to Registered Nurses or physicians promptly. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. Document all nursing care and patient information accurately and timely. Support patients with activities of daily living and ensure their comfort and safety. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain compliance with infection control standards and healthcare regulations. Valid and current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Completion of an accredited practical nursing program. Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of nursing care practices, medication administration, and patient safety protocols. Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff. Ability to work under supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
