The Telemetry CNA is responsible for measuring and documenting patient vital signs and observing cardiac monitors for any irregularities. They also act as a liaison between patients and the nursing team while ensuring telemetry equipment is functioning correctly.
Candidates must hold a current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and maintain BLS certification. A minimum of six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office is preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Measure and document vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation) Observe patients for any changes in condition, such as increased discomfort, difficulty breathing, or changes in mental status, and report findings to the RN Observe cardiac monitors and reporting any irregularities to the nursing staff Ensure telemetry leads and equipment are properly placed and functioning Act as a liaison between patients and the nursing team

Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current. 3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology. 4. Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
