Performs specialized diagnostic technical procedures using radiation equipment to assist in the diagnosis and tracking of diseases. Operates within specialty disciplines including mammography, angiography, and computerized tomography.
Requires an advanced diploma in Medical Radiologic Technology and twenty-four months of relevant experience. Candidates must hold valid licenses from the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
