The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They also guide patient and family education while maintaining clinical standards and communicating patient status to physicians.
Candidates must hold a current valid State Registered Nurse License and have at least one year of experience in an acute care hospital. Current BLS certification is required, with ACLS certification and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Prepare and dispense medications including unit-dose, IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and operate automated dispensing cabinets Manage inventory across nursing units, crash carts, and automated systems while handling controlled substances and monitoring expirations Enter and verify medication orders in hospital EMR systems to ensure accuracy of dosage, form, route, and frequency Support patient safety by checking labels, assisting with medication reconciliation, delivering medications, and preparing drugs for specialized populations Comply with USP standards, maintain regulatory documentation, and take on specialized roles such as IV compounding, clinical support, or lead technician duties

State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required (if required by state regulations) 3. High school diploma or equivalent 4.
