The LPN provides quality patient care under the direction of an RN or provider in surgical and step-down units. They are responsible for administering medications, performing clinical procedures, and collecting thorough information regarding patient conditions.
Candidates must hold an LPN IV certification and possess the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking, and reaching. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to assess patient conditions through visual and sensory observation are required.
