Provides professional nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit, leading the healthcare team through the nursing process. Responsible for developing individualized care plans, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating discharge planning.
Requires a California Registered Nurse license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Candidates must have 1 year of recent L&D experience or completion of a KP L&D course, along with Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification.
As the leader of the health care team, provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
