Serving the needs of Garfield Heights and the Southeast communities of Cuyahoga County, Marymount Hospital is an acute care, faith-based hospital. Marymount Hospital’s 2 East is a med/surg unit that provides general medical care and pre-/post-operative care to patients requiring orthopaedic surgical interventions such as hip and knee replacements and fractures.
2 South also provides general medical care and pre-/post-operative care to patients requiring various surgical procedures, such as hysterectomy, TURPs, thyroidectomy, cholecystectomy and debridements.
2 East and 2 South both specialize in treating patients with congestive heart failure, chest tubes, wound VACs and endocrinology disorders.
Our multi-disciplinary team includes registered nurses, physicians, nurse practitioners, physical and occupational therapists, dietitians, pharmacy support and case management.
Each team member has a critical role in helping our patients achieve full recovery and we provide each patient with individual attention.
Throughout their stay, patients are educated, encouraged and inspired to become an active part of their medical-surgical care – aiming for a full recovery with the best outcomes possible.
As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. This position requires a caregiver who is empathetic, understanding and nurturing to ensure quality patient care and effective life-saving treatment.

00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements.
Provide direct nursing care.

Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Educate patients and their families
