The RN assesses, directs, and coordinates patient care and procedures within the surgery department. They act as a patient advocate and health teacher while managing the plan of care for patients and their families.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current New York State RN license and Basic Life Support certification. One year of experience in acute or critical care is required, and a BS in Nursing is preferred.
Rome Health is currently seeking a Pre-Admission Registered Nurse for our Surgery departments. Registered Nurse assesses, directs, and coordinates patient care and procedures in an efficient, empathetic and timely manner appropriate to the age of patients served. "Owns" the plan of care for the patient and family. Serves as patient advocate and health teacher. EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; current Basic Life Support; BS in Nursing preferred.
Licenses: Current Registered Nurse License in New York State
One year of work experience in acute or critical care.
