The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing patient care functions, including greeting patients and recording vital signs in the Electronic Medical Record. They also maintain a safe clinical environment and ensure equipment and supplies are properly managed.
Candidates must hold a diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or possess an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic, or Medic certification. Alternatively, at least one year of direct patient care experience is required.
