Perform a variety of technical duties using complex imaging equipment to produce high-quality interventional radiology images for physician interpretation. Manage patient safety, equipment setup, and clerical record-keeping within HIS, RIS, and PACS systems.
Requires an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, and a Connecticut State License. At least one year of hospital radiology experience is required, with a preference for candidates with IR or cardiovascular interventional experience.

Under the supervision of the Interventional Radiology Manager and/or Assistant Chief Technologist, performs a wide variety of technical and professional duties utilizing complex imaging equipment to produce quality IR images as requested for subsequent interpretation by the radiologist. All duties are performed according to departmental and organizational policies and procedures., Promotes service excellence in all interactions as outlined in the Key Behaviors in the YNHH Core Success Factors.
1-3 years recent X-ray technologist experience, IR experience preferred. ARRT certification and State of Connecticut license required.
