Performs routine patient mobilization tasks under the direct supervision of a nurse or therapist. Coordinates unit-specific mobilization activities and maintains accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and active licensure as a CNA or EMT. Candidates must be able to complete a background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Performs designated routine patient mobilization tasks. Duties are of a supportive nature and are performed only with the on-site supervision of the delegating nurse or therapist. This position does not interpret referrals, perform evaluation procedures, initiate or adjust treatment programs, assume responsibility for planning patient care, and/or discuss medical diagnosis with patients. Coordinates daily unit specific patient mobilization activities, documents in EMR, and other duties as assigned.
HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
