The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT exams and procedures under the direction of a radiologist. They ensure patient safety by adhering to ALARA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Candidates must be graduates of a JRCERT accredited school of Radiology and hold current IEMA and ARRT certifications. Proficiency in Microsoft software and strong analytical skills are required.
The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist provides patient centered service as an imaging technologist in Computed Tomography. Under the direction of the radiologist, the CT Technologist performs CT exams and procedures at a technical level. The CT Technologist administers ionizing radiation for adequate diagnostic quality while abiding by ALARA guidelines and meeting all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.
