Responsibilities

• Midwest Center for Youth and Families is seeking caring and compassionate Behavioral Health Workers to join our clinical teams!
• Available Hours: PRN Midwest Center for Youth and Families (a subsidiary of UHS) has been in operation since 1997, serving youth across the country that are in need of psychiatric treatment for variety of mental health issues.
• The Midwest Center is a respected healthcare provider, fully accredited, 74-bed private, residential treatment facility with locations in Valparaiso and Kouts, IN.
• We are dedicated to care of the hearts and minds of our patients with compassion and superior quality behavioral healthcare services through our full-immersion Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program for children and adolescents ages 10 - 18 who struggle with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges.
• The Patriot Support Program at Midwest Center offers specialized treatment designed to address the behavioral health needs and challenges of the children of active-duty military, reserve, and national guard members.

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health or a Nursing degree is required.
• A minimum of two years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting. Experience in patient assessment, family motiviation, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
• RN, LSW, LCSW license or equivalent.
