The nurse will support clinical research trials by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement protocols and monitor patient data. They will also provide direct patient care, including symptom management and recruitment for various oncology studies.
Candidates must hold an active MA RN license and possess 3-5 years of oncology experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, with IV certification preferred.

Performs and documents patient and family education regarding protocols including necessary procedures and changes Determines patient eligibility for protocol participation Ascertains that eligibility requirements have been met, including informed consent to participate in protocol Collects and submits all necessary protocol study forms, test results and data accurately and in a timely manner Fulfils reporting requirements to the Investigation Review Board Maintains thorough accurate and complete records on all protocol patients including a. follow up queries b. dosing modifications with calculations c. adverse drug reactions d. update of all protocols upon receipt of amendments, warnings, and other clarifications Actively participates in protocol review Manages all audits of clinical research activities Active member of Oncology Subcommittee, Research group and cancer committee Active participant in tumor board/ conference to review patients for trial eligibility and communicates with practice RN for other patients Assists with design of protocols, workflows and policies for research. Communicates with leadership about upcoming trials and patients and educates the team on trials. Education/Experience: Must have 3-5 years of oncology experience, superb organizational and communication skills, comfortable with autonomous and independent work Certification/License: MA RN license BLS ONS certification preferred This position floats to IV Infusion. Pay Range: $36.00 - $79.12 This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
