The Permanency Specialist works with children and families to identify and secure appropriate permanency placements while implementing and monitoring permanency plans. They also advocate for families during court hearings and school meetings while coordinating necessary social and psychological services.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in an approved Human Services field and hold a CWEL certification. A valid driver’s license with current automobile insurance is required, along with the ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.

The Permanency Achievement Specialist works to achieve permanency for children in the program in a caring and responsible manner while following all standards and policies. This role involves working closely with children and families to identify the best placement options, educating families on the adoption process, implementing permanency plans, coordinating services, and supporting the social and psychological well-being of participants. The position serves as an advocate and partner to families throughout the permanency process, including attending court hearings, school meetings, and community events, while also networking to recruit potential foster and adoptive families.
