The Utilization Review Coordinator monitors the continuum of services to optimize reimbursement and ensure efficient use of hospital resources. They also oversee adherence to the utilization review plan to ensure appropriate admissions and extended stays.

  • Monday - Friday 8A - 4:30P Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a provider of quality psychiatric treatment services for adults, children and adolescents.
  • Our outpatient services are a convenient drive to areas in Hinds County, Madison County and Rankin County.
  • We also provide inpatient services for those who need more structured treatment.

  • Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 120-bed acute psychiatric care facility located in Flowood, Mississippi.
  • We are accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and certified by Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE®.
  • We provide psychiatric treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, phobia and more.

Position Summary

Proactively monitors utilization of continuum of services and optimize reimbursement for Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare. Monitors adherence to the hospital's utilization review plan to ensure the effective and efficient use of hospital services and monitor the appropriateness of hospital admissions and extended hospitals stays. Qualifications

Minimum

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Mississippi. 1-3 years of psychiatric experiance required.

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 3 - 5 years experience in psychiatric setting. Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current registered professional nurse license in Mississippi. A minimum of 1-3 years of psychiatric experience is required, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
