The Dental Assistant will maintain patient records, perform cleanings, and assist the dentist with complex procedures. They are also responsible for taking X-rays, scheduling appointments, and educating patients on oral hygiene.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma, a Radiology certificate, and at least two years of dental assisting experience. An upbeat personality and a willingness to learn are also required.
Preferred Search Group is partnering with a well-known dental practice in Irving,TX to find a Dental Assistant. This is a full-time position paying $20-25/hour plus benefits. This position can be 5 days per week or four 10 hour shifts per week. Employees will work 40 hours per week.
Update and maintain client’s dental records Chart in Dentrix Perform routine dental cleanings and assist the dentist with complex dental procedures Take and process X-rays of patients Schedule patient appointments Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
