The COTA will evaluate and document patient progress while planning and implementing occupational therapy programs to help residents achieve rehabilitation goals. They are responsible for conducting activities that assist patients in learning new skills and adjusting to physical or mental handicaps.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and hold a current Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant license. One to two years of related experience is preferred, along with the ability to pass background and drug screenings.
