Compensation

The Impact You Can Make The radiologic technologist will work directly with the radiologist, surgeons and nurses to perform a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures that require judgment, ingenuity and radiation protection practices, while responding to any of the patient’s special, physical, emotional, spiritual and/or age-specific related needs. This position also provides a lead role for the coordination of procedures performed in the operating room services. How

• Excellence: Perform high-quality radiographic & fluoroscopic exams safely and accurately according to established departmental protocols

• Service: Provide excellent customer service, patient education, and radiation safety checks during all imaging procedures

• Documentation: Maintain precise patient records across our Radiology

• System (RIS) and
• PACS platforms

• Collaboration: Serve as a clinical supervisor and educator for imaging students rotating through our clinical settings

• Operations: Collaborate on workflow improvement projects, assist with patient transport, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain a clean, stocked imaging environment.

• Education: Successful completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program.

Experience

• 1+ years of radiologic technologist experience in an Operating Room.
• Licensure &
• Certifications: Active New York State (NYS) Radiologic Technologist License. Active ARRT registration. Current BLS Certification (or obtained at time of hire)
