The Radiology Technologist arranges patients for radiological examinations and produces high-quality images to assist in medical diagnoses. They are responsible for operating imaging equipment safely according to established protocols and providing pre- and post-procedure education to patients and their families.
Candidates must have completed 2 years of clinical training in an AMA-approved program and possess a current Louisiana Registered Radiologic license. Additionally, applicants must hold or be eligible for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification and maintain a BLS certification.
