• Who We're looking for Copa Health is seeking a Substance Abuse Specialist to join the Medical Assertive Community Treatment Team. The Substance Abuse Specialist works collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary care team to identify, assess, and provide stage-wise engagement, persuasion, active treatment, and relapse prevention/management services in individual and group formats for persons with alcohol, tobacco and other substance use involvement. Works as a collaborating MACT team member to facilitate recovery and inspire hope for service members while supporting their achievement of service plan goals. Provides on-call crisis intervention services, as well as weekend and holiday coverage on an established schedule. Key Responsibilities
• Delivers stage-wise treatment groups, outreach and engagement interventions in clinic and community settings under the oversight of a licensed BHP.
