Preferred experience of one or more years as a therapy aide in a hospital setting. BLS Certification is required either upon hire or within 90 days.
Overview Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Dallas, TX Therapy Aide Full Time Outpatient Facility Clinic Hours: Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm Friday 7am-5pm Starting rate: $18/hr Baylor Rehabilitation is seeking a full time outpatient orthopedic rehab aide to join our dynamic Occupational and Physical therapy team in our brand-new space on the Baylor University Medical Center campus Downtown Dallas! Duties include infection control cleaning, laundry, light equipment maintenance, assistance to clinicians for direct patient care, assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks, and other duties as assigned. Candidate must be energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team. Previous tech experience preferred but not required
Duties include assistance to clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting), infection control cleaning, light equipment maintenance, assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks, setting up patients on therapeutic activities, facilitating exercise groups, and other duties as assigned. Candidate must be hard working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, friendly, energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team.
