The Therapy Aide is responsible for infection control cleaning, laundry, and light equipment maintenance. They also provide direct patient care assistance to clinicians and perform light clerical tasks for the front desk.
Candidates should be high school graduates or college students interested in Physical Therapy, with BLS certification required within 90 days of hire. Previous hospital experience as a therapy aide is preferred.
Overview Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Terrell, TX Therapy Aide PRN Outpatient Facility Shift Hours: 24 hr week Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation in Terrell is looking for a seasonal Physical Therapy Aide. Ideal candidate is a high school graduate or college student that is interested in pursuing the field of Physical Therapy. Position will only be available through the summer of 2026.
Duties include infection control cleaning, laundry, light equipment maintenance, assistance to clinicians for direct patient care as needed, assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks and other duties as assigned. Candidate must be energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team. Previous tech experience preferred but not required.
