Licensed Practical Nurses provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. They participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care according to hospital policies.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of practical nursing and hold a current Georgia LPN license. Possession of American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is required.

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures of Northside Hospital. LPNs participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. LPNs work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
REQUIRED Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. PREFERRED Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications may be preferred in specific units. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units. Work Hours: 7p-7a
