The Locum MD will administer anesthesia for various surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. They are also responsible for conducting pre-anesthesia evaluations, monitoring patients during procedures, and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and be board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience and a valid medical license in New Mexico are required.

As a Locum MD in Anesthesiology, you will play a crucial role in the administration of anesthesia and the overall management of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution Board certification in Anesthesiology 3-5 years of experience in anesthesiology practice Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive understanding of anesthesia techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Current and valid medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico Schedule: Monday-Thursday (6:30a-3p) and Friday (7:30a-4:30p) No call, weekends, or holidays
Daily Volume: 10-20 anesthetic cases
9 ORs, 5 NORAs
Support Staff: Additional Anesthesiologists, CRNAs
Modified anesthesia care model
EMR: PICIS
Any state license accepted
