Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals Assess patients' medical histories and determine appropriate anesthesia plans Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Manage anesthesia-related emergencies effectively Educate patients and families about anesthesia processes and post-operative care Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology and best practices

Requirements

Associate degree in Nursing or related field Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and CRNA certification Experience in administering anesthesia in various surgical settings Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and medications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Commitment to patient safety and quality care

Level III Trauma

Schedule: 7a-3p or 7a-5:30p

Beeper call shifts available

4 ORs, 2 endo rooms

Caseload: General, ortho, ENT, endo, OB/GYN, peds

Blocks required

EMR: Epic

Board certification required
