Provide comprehensive maternal and neonatal care, including performing deliveries and managing obstetric complications. Responsibilities include conducting C-sections, supervising residents, and managing GYN and ED consults.
Requires an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and current medical licensure in the state of Virginia. Candidates must have clinical experience in labor and delivery settings and strong interpersonal skills.

In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality maternal and neonatal care, working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring the well-being of mothers and infants.
Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, including assessments and interventions Perform deliveries and manage complications as they arise Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Participate in patient education regarding prenatal and postnatal care Conduct routine and emergency procedures as necessary Stay updated on best practices in labor and delivery Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Current medical licensure in the state of Virginia Experience in labor and delivery settings Strong clinical skills and knowledge of obstetric care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergencies Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
Monday-Friday, 7:30/8a - 5p

Variable patient volume based on resident participation
Duties: Mix of OB/GYN visits and routine procedures

Paid travel & expenses
Call Requirement: 24-hour in-house call shifts
Approximately 1–2 call shifts per week (including weekends)
Potential hybrid schedule with clinic responsibilities
3,500 deliveries annually
Labor & Delivery coverage, C-sections and OB emergencies, GYN consults and ED consults, urgent/emergent surgeries, supervision of residents (OB/GYN and family medicine), and optional robotics/minimally invasive surgery
Support Staff: OB hospitalist teams and private OB group
