As a Locum MD in Emergency Medicine, you will play a critical role in our medical practice, providing immediate care to patients in urgent situations. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse range of medical conditions. Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients Assess and triage patients in a fast-paced environment Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results Develop and implement treatment plans for urgent medical conditions Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and timely medical records Ensure compliance with medical standards and protocols Participate in continuing education and professional development
Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution Active medical license to practice in the state of New York Experience in Emergency Medicine preferred Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure Commitment to patient-centered care
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Annual Volume: 80k patients
Support Staff: APPs, potentially another MD
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
