Description

This contract position is on-site and offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical practice environment, providing critical care to patients in emergency situations.

As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will play a vital role in our healthcare delivery, addressing urgent medical needs and ensuring the well-being of patients. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality medical care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients Assess and triage patients in emergency situations Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results Administer treatments and medications as necessary Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Participate in quality improvement initiatives Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in emergency medicine

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Current medical license to practice in the state of Florida Board certification in Emergency Medicine or relevant experience Strong clinical skills and the ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a

No call requirement

Patient Volume: 2 per hour, or 26 per day

Will work independently

Must be board-certified
