Description

. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for an associate-level physician to contribute to patient care in a collaborative and supportive environment.

As a Locum Radiation Oncologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality radiation therapy to patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will directly impact the treatment and recovery of patients facing cancer, ensuring they receive the best care possible.

Responsibilities

Provide radiation oncology services to patients under your care Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Conduct patient consultations and follow-up assessments Collaborate with medical professionals in developing comprehensive care strategies Utilize advanced radiation techniques and technologies Document patient information and treatment progress accurately Educate patients and their families about treatment options and procedures Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education opportunities

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Radiation Oncology Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation Experience in radiation therapy and oncology care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to ongoing professional development and patient care excellence Familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

No call requirement

Patient Census: 15-18 per day

Procedures Required: Imrt, sbrt, igrt

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
