Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and possess a valid medical license to practice in Florida. Experience in emergency medicine is preferred, along with board certification and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients in urgent medical situations. Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in critical situations Perform thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations Stabilize patients and administer appropriate treatment plans Collaborate with nursing staff and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and detailed medical records Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with emergency medicine best practices Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment options Adhere to all medical protocols and standards of care
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida Experience in emergency medicine is preferred Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment Commitment to patient-centered care and safety Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Schedule: 11p-7a, primarily weekends
Annual Volume: ~100k patients
Daily Volume: ~190 ED visits on average
Must be comfortable treating all ages
All emergency medicine procedures are required
80-bed ED
Support Staff: APPs, scribes
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
