As a Locum Family Medicine Physician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible medical attention. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of health conditions, conducting physical exams, and working closely with our healthcare team to promote patient wellness and education.
Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care Document patient encounters accurately in electronic medical records
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Active medical license in the state of practice Previous experience in Family Medicine or a related field Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Schedule: 8a-5p
Patient Census: 20-22 per day
Daily Team Structure: 3 MDs, 4 APPs, RNs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
