Description

This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical care in a fast-paced medical practice environment.

In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality emergency medical services, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare professionals to assess and treat patients in various emergency situations, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our medical team.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results Administer medications and therapies as prescribed Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for emergency care

Requirements

Active NP or PA license in the state of practice Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies Previous experience in an emergency medicine setting is preferred Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Knowledge of electronic medical record systems Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Schedule: 10 or 12-hour shifts

No call requirement

Daily Census: 20 patients

Will respond to codes

ED Team Structure: 6 MDs, 3 APPs

Specialty consultation available

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
