The Hospitalist will provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, including managing admissions, discharges, and transitions of care. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and possess an active medical license in New York. Current board certification in Internal Medicine is required, along with strong clinical skills and experience in an inpatient setting.

As a Hospitalist, you will play a crucial role in managing inpatient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality treatment and patient outcomes. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing the overall patient experience and advancing our commitment to excellence in healthcare.
Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans Collaborate with specialists and primary care providers Manage admissions, discharges, and transitions of care Educate patients and their families on health management Participate in quality improvement initiatives Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records Stay updated with the latest medical practices and guidelines
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Current board certification in Internal Medicine Active medical license in the state of New York Experience in a hospitalist role or similar inpatient setting preferred Strong clinical skills and the ability to make critical decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
Schedule: 7p-7a, 7 on/7 off
No call requirement
Nightly Volume: 6-8 admits
Will cover admissions
Support Staff: Residents, house officers, and full subspecialty support onsite
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
