The Anesthesiologist is responsible for administering anesthesia during surgical procedures and monitoring patient vital signs. They also conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and provide post-anesthesia care while collaborating with surgical teams.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and possess a current, valid medical license. Completion of an Anesthesiology residency and Board Certification are required.
As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in providing anesthesia services and support to various healthcare facilities. Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and consultations Provide post-anesthesia care and support Maintain accurate records of anesthesia care Stay informed about advancements in anesthesiology techniques Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the facility
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Current and valid medical license in the state of practice Completion of a residency in Anesthesiology Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to high-quality patient care and safety Basic understanding of anesthesia equipment and technology
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p, call shifts 5p-7a Monday-Friday & 24-hour call shifts on Saturday and Sunday
Census: Average 5 admissions, 1 inpatient, 1 ICU patient daily
