About the role

The physician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including routine examinations, prenatal and postnatal support, and diagnostic services. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating with the medical team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Description

This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care in a dynamic medical practice environment.

As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to our patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of women's health issues, collaborating with a skilled team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing the quality of care we provide in our community.

Responsibilities

Provide quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients Perform routine examinations and screenings Diagnose and treat various medical conditions related to women's health Conduct prenatal and postnatal care for expectant mothers Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in on-call duties as required Stay current with advancements in obstetrics and gynecology

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Active medical license to practice in the state Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology preferred Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in Ob/Gyn Strong diagnostic and clinical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing compassionate patient care

Schedule: 24-hour in-hour call shifts, 7a-7a

Level II NICU

Annual Volume: 250 deliveries

EMR: Meditech

Board certification required
