Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and possess a valid medical license in Utah. Experience in a clinical gastroenterology setting and familiarity with EMR systems are required.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with gastrointestinal disorders Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate and timely medical records Educate patients on dietary and lifestyle changes to improve their conditions Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities Stay current with advancements in gastroenterology and medical practices
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution Valid medical license to practice in the state of Utah Experience in gastroenterology, preferably in a clinical setting Strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
Setting: Outpatient
Daily Volume: 12-15 procedures, 8-10 clinic patients
Cases: General GI, EGD, EVS, IBD, abdominal pain, EOE, minimal hepatitis, IBD, Fujinon scopes
Support Staff: MA, RN, echo tech, lab tech, nuclear tech, X-ray tech
EMR: Epic and Provation
Must be board-certified
